know the others who are traveling with

Lewis writes on the OAT Travel site:
“We believe solo travelers deserve to
explore the world – without the large
premium. That’s why we offer FREE or
low-cost single supplements, saving
you up to $5,000 compared to other
companies.”
Barstow visited Guayaquil in
Ecuador, where the group went to a
school for children with learning disabilities. She wove a basket on another trip. And the guides always speak
English. “Everywhere we go, the food
is terrific. And when we go by ship, I
also have a single room. I’ve been to
Costa Rica and Cuba was fascinating.
We flew from Miami and, once we were
there, we met with people from the
U.S. State Department. They were very
open about the status of visitors to the
country versus the life of the residents.
We had great meals in nice neighborhoods, very different from what the
locals eat.”
The company promotes that you
are “safe and secure, that someone is
always available 24/7 should anything
arise during your adventure.”
“Most important to me,” Barstow
said, “is they take care of me. I never
have to be concerned about travel arrangements or overdoing it. For
instance, if we’re going to be walking,
the leaders let us know how far we are
going. They’ll say it’s two miles and
what the terrain is like. Even at home I
take a cane just in case. I would trust
them on any trip, even to areas of the
world that are questionable. And I will
travel with them again. You won’t go
wrong on their trips.”

And there are lots and lots of classes.
And there is a YouTube channel with

There is still a stigma when people go
to a therapist. If you broke your leg, you
would seek medical care, so when your
heart or head is broken, you should also
seek medical care. Another example is
when those in our armed forces have
been sent to serve overseas, many come
back with what today is called PTSD:
Post traumatic stress disorder. During
WWI, it was called shell-shock, and is
now recognized as a form of PTSD, a real
illness that needs treatment.
So don’t let anything stop you. You’d
be surprised at how many people
have benefited from therapy. This only
scratches the surface of resources available online. And all these places wouldn’t
exist if there wasn’t a need. I wish you
good health.

unlock a world of opportunities.”
