Can start with email, U.S. mail or a phone call
claiming you have won a prize and asking you
to send a fee before collecting your winnings.

Grandparent Scam
Scammer calls or emails a senior and identifies
him or herself as their grandchild or a person of
authority (ex. Police officer).
Claims to have an emergency (arrested, injured,
robbed) and needs money wired.
Caller asks grandparent not to tell parents.
