PERSONAL TRAINER
ANTHONY ROBINSON, ONELIFE FITNESS, HUNT VALLEY
126 Shawan Rd #300, Cockeysville. 410-885-4242. onelifefitness.com/gyms/hunt-valley
At Cockeysville’s Onelife Fitness, Hunt
Valley gym, personal trainer Anthony Robinson hopes to change clients’ lives
through collaborative group fitness classes
and one-on-one private sessions.
“I care about my clients and their goals
sometimes more than they care about their
goals,” he said. “I just want to help people
reach the ultimate version of themselves.”
Robinson, an athlete since the age of 5,
got his personal trainer certification from
the American Council on Exercise in 2018.
He spent years working at Under Armour
Performance Centers in Baltimore before
finding his current home at Onelife in
2023. Robinson, 31, describes himself as
“faith-based and faith-driven,” both inside
and outside the gym.
“I play worship music in my sessions. I
keep my Bible right next to me at all times,”
he said. “I really try to go above and beyond to make sure that everybody that
comes to the door gets exactly what they
need that day — whether it’s a workout
[or] a word from God.”
Throughout his career, Robinson said
he has prided himself on maintaining personal relationships with his clients. It’s not
uncommon, he said, for him to see them at
church, fishing trips or cookouts.
“Real-life friendships have been developed from the way that I move with my
clients,” he said. “At the end of the day, it’s
called ‘personal training,‘ and so I try to be
as personal as I can.”
