Anne Arundel County Public Schools calendar 2026-2027

The 2026-2027 academic year for Anne Arundel County Public Schools started Aug. 24, with a planned end date of June 11,
depending on inclement weather.
The calendar was voted on by the Anne Arundel County
Board of Education in December. From now on, the board will
vote on school calendars two years in advance to give families
more time to plan their schedules.
The calendar contains a slightly shorter winter break, a fiveday Thanksgiving break and a seven-day spring break for students. It also includes four early dismissal days.
Students in first through fifth grade, along with those in sixth
and ninth grades, returned to school Aug. 24. The remaining
grade levels started Aug. 25. Early Childhood Intervention, preK and kindergarten had staggered start dates.
