WELCOME…
From the Board of
County Commissioners
Welcome to the 2024 “Aging Your Way: Health & Wellness Expo”
Celene Steckel
Director, Carroll County
Department of
Citizen Services
(previously known as Seniors on the Go!)
As the county hosts its 17th expo, we acknowledge older adults and all they offer
and contribute to Carroll County. They provide support to families, enhance
our local economy, are leaders of many volunteer efforts, and contribute so
much more to our community. The expo focuses on the needs and interests of
Carroll County’s older adults, people with disabilities, veterans, their families,
and caregivers.
Today’s event will showcase the many businesses and county agencies that
support the community as well as the latest services, products, and information
that benefit older adults, their family, friends, and care givers.
We look forward to the pickleball demonstrations, dozens of exhibitors, health
screenings, seminars, prescription medication disposal, vendor prize bingo,
boxed lunches, and much more.
Special thanks to the Expo Planning Committee, the Bureau of Aging &
Disabilities staff, the sponsors, exhibitors, and all the volunteers who work
tirelessly to make the Expo a success year after year. This is one more example of
why Carroll County continues to be a great community! Thanks for joining us!

Bureau of Aging
& Disabilities
On behalf of the Carroll County
Department of Citizen Services
and the Bureau of Aging &
Disabilities, we welcome you to
the 2024 Aging Your Way Expo!
This event was previously known
as the Seniors on the Go Expo. As
people are living longer than ever
before, it is important to embrace
the contributions that older adults
can provide to help strengthen
our communities. At the same
time, we need to ensure that we
are connecting not only older
adults with the latest in resources,
products, and services, but also,
Veterans, people with disabilities,
their families and caregivers in Carroll County. We hope you enjoy
this signature event and encourage you to discover different avenues,
programs and services to Age Your Way. We have a great day in store;
filled with demonstrations, health screenings and assessments, activities,
and seminars!
Thank you to the County Commissioners, Expo Committee, Bureau
of Aging & Disabilities staff, sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers who
dedicate countless hours to make this a successful event!
