When he services a wedding, Kris Schutz
knows his liquors, inside and out; ditto, the
guests.
“Our service is very personalized for
what the wedding party wants,” said Schutz,
co-owner of Spirits On Site, a mobile
bartending enterprise in Annapolis. “Caterers
might tell you, ‘These are the drinks we have.’
We consult with the bridal party, do our
homework and create custom menus for the
guests. We try to make things unique.”
The host of one event called Schutz, the day
before with a last-second request.
“We’d like to have coffee,” the man said,
“but the caterer can’t do it. Can you?”
“Absolutely,” said Schutz, who hurried out
and bought a coffee maker to add to the other
